Framing Installation Dept. Manager

PRESCIENT® – Denver, CO

Innovative light gauge and cold rolled panelized structural-system manufacturer is looking for a Project Manager to lead its installation teams.

The Installation Manager is responsible for oversight of all installation activities: directing and managing site activities, and working collaboratively with our internal project management, design, engineering, manufacturing and product supply chain teams.

This position is responsible for on-boarding and training steel framing and drywall companies to install our system. You will also maintain, develop and manage quality assurance and payment schedules for subcontractor and self-performance teams.

Core competencies and duties include:
• Experience with light gauge steel framing construction and drywall installation
• Project management, bidding and estimating
• A proven track record of project management on large scale construction projects
• IBC competencies with type V, III, II and I residential construction
• A knowledge of UL certifications as they relate to STC, IIC and fire codes
• A history of working with general contractors and code officials in the areas of design development and construction permitting
• A proven track record in working with internal and external stakeholders in project design, development and construction
• Supervising and staffing self-perform operations of framing systems including but not limited to recruiting, training, coaching and managing employees.
• Meeting financial and managerial objectives by forecasting, budgeting and scheduling as well as other financial requirements for installation department 
• Responsible for Capex forecasting for installation department 
• Installation process improvement 
• Jobsite inventory control of tools and materials
• Implementation of production and customer service standards 
• Strategic planning, developing and enforcing policies and procedures 
• Communicating job expectations with ownership, general contractors and subcontractors

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s with a focus on construction related curriculum and a minimum of 5 years project management experience. Knowledge of BIM and experience with BIM design software is a plus.
