The Financial Reporting Analyst…
We work closely with the executive team and business units to develop, execute, monitor, and refine key initiatives. You'll step into a reporting role with the FP&A team, primarily focusing on complex financial reporting and data analysis as well as ad-hoc reporting to support key business decisions. In addition to excelling in modeling and analysis, you'll need to utilize your SQL skills to quickly and accurately pull large data sets and turn your findings into easily understandable information for the business. This won't be a monotonous job - the business challenges are constant, and the solutions ever changing. The ability to jump into uncharted waters and manage multiple projects with changing priorities is a must.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate, timely reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial data
- Assisting with the development and management of new financial reports and analysis to support the Finance and Accounting teams
- Providing information and analysis to the business to support and drive strategic decisions
Tools for the trade
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics or Business- 1+ years of professional experience in a data/business analysis role
- Strong, demonstrable SQL skills
- Advanced Excel experience
- Superior analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience synthesizing information from numerous sources, working with incomplete data, and presenting concise analyses
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, and to meet established timelines while maintaining accuracy
- Tableau and/or BI experience is a plus
