To live up to our company’s mission, we are committed to delivering high quality private label fabric collections to our passionate Quilting and Sewing consumers. As an Assistant Fabric Product Developer, you will play a critical role in developing these collections by managing color and quality standards, partnering with our designers to make concepts come to life, and communicating with our international fabric mills. 


Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the Fabric Product Development Team to develop designs into real textile prints 
• Partner with international mills to advance artwork through color and technique by reviewing strike offs and communicating through pitch sheets and spec sheets 
• Manage quality assurance for pre-production goods with PPS and TOP sample checks, and monitor post-purchase customer feedback   
• Create visual tools for better cross-functional partnerships 
• Oversee sample timelines and tracking, and effectively inform team members of expected delivery dates 
• Measure samples, organize product bins, and immersing oneself in physical product. This role is not always staring at a computer! 
• Develop expertise in textile design and global manufacturing capabilities, and effectively communicate techniques to the team for optimal design execution

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or a related field 
• 1+ years experience in Design, Product Development, or related field 
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Excel 
• An eye for color and ability to effectively give color direction for manufacturing 
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication 
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with strong organization skills and attention to detail
