Gociety hosted the first Adventure Fest in Denver, CO and we will bring Adventure Fest to cities across the US in 2017.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a master at managing projects, people and negotiations. You have a solid history of directing successful events that get noticed and draw crowds. You’re familiar with the outdoor industry and ultimately have the ability to solve problems quickly, delegate and manage your time very well. You’re driven by the shared vision of Gociety and the community and pull from an arsenal of creative ways to weave brand activations into an enjoyable experience for 21 - 34 year olds. ABOUT THE JOB
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, brands, contractors and staff
Help Gociety scale the Adventure Fest concept across multiple cities in 2017
Develop and maintain meticulous budgets for events
Make recommendations and improvements to current event templates and workflows
Work directly with the CEO to develop event direction, strategies and revenue models
Coordinate marketing, sales, graphic needs, volunteers and contractors to ensure event success
Travel to venues / locations around the US
Talent acquisition, planning and booking
Non-profit partnership management
Day of event staffing, scheduling and logistics
Ability to execute quickly and manage time masterfully
Work to efficiently scale Gociety events to a national level
REQUIREMENTS
Proven and successful execution of multiple large scale events direction
Very capable of making decisions during stressful situations
Must have flexibility to travel - up to 40%
Familiarity with city / state planning and permitting
