DispatchHealth is looking for ETL Developer to join our growing team. The ETL Developer will lead the ability to take all critical information and knowledge and turn it into data that be used to make sound business decisions and product growth.

Summary of Job Functions 

  • Specifies overall Data Architecture for all areas and domains of the enterprise, including Data Acquisition, Data Warehouse, Data Provisioning, ETL
  • Managing ETL platform, both the SQL server and reporting system
  • Implement systems for tracking data quality and consistency
  • Transition existing data warehouses to new technologies as they evolve
  • Design, create and optimize database schemas
  • Build, monitor, and maintain data ETL pipelines
  • Understand and implement monitoring services for the ETL platform
  • Work with engineering and product management to implement data-driven features

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience with both transactional databases and data warehouses with large data volumes
  • Strong experience with SQL (MySQL, Postgres or other RDBMS)
  • Strong experience with ETL tools and processes
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Experience owning mission critical service(s) 
  • Experience in performance tuning, server monitoring, and query optimization
  • Strong knowledge of database design and architecture principles
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

  • Understanding and development experience with OLAP Cubes
  • Experience with Embedded BI solutions
  • Skilled in developing automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices for data services
  • Highly effective communication and collaboration skill
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
  • Experience with JavaScript at least 1 high-level object-oriented language
  • Experience with enterprise analytics suites a plus
  • Understanding of Ruby on Rails or Django framework
  • Experience working with healthcare data a plus
