RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to inbound inquiries about our programs through multiple channels (phone, email, social, etc…)
- Qualify prospective applicants and identify what they are looking to get out of a course
- Work with applicants to determine if they are a fit for the program and vice versa.
- If the applicant is a fit make sure that the applicant applies
- Outbound prospect and qualify potential applicants through email, phone, and applicant fairs
MUST HAVES
- Proven ability of long term achievement and critical thinking in a demanding environment. This used to mean a required Bachelor’s degree, but Galvanize is about access and opportunity to anyone that has the drive and ability. So, if you have a Bachelor’s degree great. If not, show us how you have the drive and critical thinking.
- Grit: You are going to hear no more than you hear yes. That has to drive you to try harder, not quit.
- Communication skills: the ability to listen first, then the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
NICE TO HAVES
- 1-3 years of outbound or inbound sales experience, particularly in the education field
- Exposure to full stack web development and data science
- Previous experience in a technology startup
