This role reports to the VP of Account Management.  Your main goal will be to maintain and increase revenue from the TapInfluence Value Added Partners by ensuring each is successful and exceeding referral revenue targets.   

Responsibilities include:

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of people responsible for the success of the Tap’s Value Added Partners
  • Maintain a quota that consists of renewals, expansions, and upgrades for the Value Added Partners
  • Negotiate contracts with executive-level decision makers
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with each Value Added Partner
  • Execute and refine training and certification programs for Value Added Partners
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to refer, develop and qualify service referral leads for the Value Added Partners
  • Record all notes and interactions accurately in Salesforce.com
  • Travel to visit with Value Added Partners when required

Skills required

  • Excellent networking and sales skills such that you can identify and secure meetings with stakeholders at partner organizations
  • Excellent oral presentation skills such that you can articulately and simply explain the benefits of Influencer Marketing and TapInfluence products
  • Experience building proposals and business cases for the C-suite
  • Experience negotiating contracts, carrying a quota, and meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently
  • A solid understanding of social media marketing solutions
  • Experience hiring and managing a team
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills to create clean and powerful proposals 
  • Understanding of Excel to use models and measurement calculators
  • Experience working in Sales in the social media and/or advertising industry (nomenclature, conventions, titles) preferred
  • Experience with or a working knowledge of opportunity creation and tracking in Salesforce.com
