The natural/organic products industry now has Spiffly. And we need your help. 

Spiffly is a lean, post-accelerator, food+tech startup out of Boulder, CO. We recently launched our MVP platform that aims to disrupt the $150 billion natural products industry with a first-ever online platform for discovery, engagement, and buying. Consider: with 8,000 local and regional natural/organic brands across the country, and nearly half of Americans now wanting to discover new natural/organic products, Spiffly brings it all together on a single platform for the first time. Part Product Hunt, some Etsy, and a little Soundclound.

You'll be Spiffly's lead full stack developer. No small task, but an awesome opportunity. You’ll be working with some of the best minds in the natural/organic business, branding, advertising, biz strategy, and tech. And you’ll have a running start with a platform that is launched and optimized to grow.

On tech, you bring:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience writing high-performance code.
  • Proficiency with Node.js, Javascript, and Sails.
  • Server-side and front-end application experience.
  • Agile A/B test experience.
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals asynchronous/synchronous programming concepts and web services.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of user authentication and authorization schemes.
  • Proficient with multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
  • Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • A Lean Startup mentality and approach. 
  • An eye for detail and design.

Position reports directly to the CEO. And, you'll will have one full-stack developer reporting to you to start.
