Director, Product Marketing
Responsibilities include:
· Create and drive Convercent’s product marketing vision to encompass business, product and partner strategies to profitably grow our solutions.
· Act as a strategic partner to the product team by driving product direction, packaging and pricing based on deep customer, product, competitor and market intelligence as well as knowledge of our unique value propositions and differentiators.
· Develop and implement strategic go-to-market plans for current and future products and services to ensure proper positioning and product adoption. Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities.
· Partner with sales and service teams to define, develop and deliver solution-specific content, including sales tools, trainings, data sheets, technical papers, demos, presentations, FAQs and battle cards.
· Develop effective cross-sell and upsell strategies and programs by identifying appropriate “next best product” paths and propositions for target segments of the client base and track KPIs to meet revenue goals.
· Interact with customers regularly to understand use cases, pain points, success stories, and requirements across a variety of industries. Be adept at creating messaging and educating internal team members on those use cases.
· Lead and develop product marketing initiatives including content creation for outbound marketing campaigns, website content, product videos, webinars, customer education, case studies, and more.
Desired Skills/Experience:
· 7+ years as an expert product marketer with a demonstrated track record of creating and executing go-to-market programs
· Enterprise B2B marketing experience, preferably with a SaaS company
· Highly motivated energetic self starter, passionate about innovative software solutions
· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
· Self-directed; requires minimal supervision on work projects
· Strong analytical and computer skills (MS Office)
· Excellent teaming, organizational, and project management skills
· BA or BS in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent experience
