Key Responsibilities:

  • Measurements, Data, metrics, process refinement
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships and partner with Product Management, Architecture and Engineering ensuring regular communication of delivery progress is maintained
  • Enables coordination of Product Management, Engineering and Architecture and Quality to drive alignment of activities
  • Reviews and oversees portfolio delivery plans in terms of schedule, cost, scope and quality
  • Supports and guides the development process, collaborating effectively across multiple cross-functional teams to skillfully execute on milestones and deliverables in a timely manner
  • Proactively anticipates any risks and issues that may arise during the delivery of the portfolio plan and ensures that appropriate mitigation actions are undertaken 
  • Participates in the engagement of delivery and/or support teams, negotiating where necessary to resolve any resourcing conflicts that may arise due to availability or skill
  • Promotes continuous improvement in Technology delivery processes to drive overall improvements in quality and performance
  • Actively engages in resourcing processes to ensure organization agility
  • HR responsibility for Program Manager(s), Product Owners
  • Ensures adherence to relevant compliance requirements
  • Strong collaboration with Product Owners, Business partners, Compliance/Legal/GCO

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of management/leadership experience in a software development organization required
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products to market 
  • A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager
  • Strong understanding of the software development cycle
  • Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Experience with managing the development of SaaS and cloud-based applications
  • Relevant experience with web services and REST
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues
  • Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices
