Craftsy is looking for a Director of Partner Management, Corporate Development to join our team! The Director of Partner Management will have the important task of managing key partner relations with companies whom Craftsy has established or will establish key alliances both in the US and internationally. Partnerships can vary from co-production arrangements to cross marketing and distribution alliances. The Partner Director’s key function will be to maximize the overall value of our partnerships so that he or she can help strengthen our alliances and create value for both Craftsy and our Partners. The Partner Director should have at least five years experience in a business development, marketing, program management, investment banking, consulting or consumer internet role with particular expertise and experience in managing external partnerships and analyzing data. The Partner Director should also be well versed in working internally, across divisions and with teams to ensure the most beneficial outcomes and success of Craftsy’s partnerships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills enabling him or her to evaluate sales and marketing results with a focus on using data to cultivate and expand our relationships. The candidate should also be committed to outstanding customer service that goes above and beyond to serve both internal and external clients to create winning partnerships which drives both revenue and new customer acquisition.
 
As a Director of Partner Management you will:
 
  • Build strong relationships with partner companies at all levels of management and represent Craftsy in a business environment
  • Analyze data and create reports based on results from marketing actions undertaken with our partners to ensure we extract maximum value from our partnerships
  • Explore new channels to grow alliances by finding new distribution, revenue or customer growth opportunities within each partner arrangement
  • Solve problems or create solutions when issues arise
  • Identify challenges in partnerships before they turn into problems and proactively resolve them
  • Work cross-company to be the internal champion of our partners to ensure we maximize the full benefit of our external relationships
  • Manage reporting and regular communication with partners
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure we meet our reporting and data requirements
 
 Your background likely includes, but is not necessarily limited to:
 
  • Deal making, negotiation and problem solving with outstanding communication skills
  • Diplomacy with a focus on effective execution and delivery
  • Management of teams or organizational deliverables with external parties
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on analysis of data and results
  • Business development, partner management, investment banking, consulting or consumer internet experience
