The Role

The Director of Information Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance is responsible for the information security management, internal audit, and compliance with client security requirements. This role will also provide leadership and strategic direction to the executive leadership team, as well as cross functionally throughout the company.

The purpose of this role is to bring the organization’s information security risks under explicit management control throughout the Information Security Management System (ISMS). S/he will drive the global IT strategy, as well as recommend and implement technology solutions that allow our (internal) clients to maintain a competitive advantage while operating in a secure and compliant manner.

S/he will participate in annual information and network security training and acceptance of spot checks on an ad hoc basis to guarantee that InteliSecure is constantly improving upon the organization’s ISMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security management system and the subsequent handling of sensitive client data.  S/he will ensure all the company adheres to the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Our Needs and Wants

• B.S. in Business Management or equivalent degree/experience;
• 7+ years of experience in information security management and/or related functions (such as IT audit and IT Risk Management) with 3+ years of leading a high performing team;
• Strong oral and written communication with both a non-technical and technical audience;
• Experience with IT architecture, development and/or operations preferred
• CISSP and/or CISM certifications strongly preferred;
• Strong commitment to quality, integrity and employee development; Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
