 POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for enhancing organizational effectiveness through leading and executing organizational development strategies, processes, standards, practices and programs.  The Director of Human Resources will work closely with executive leadership to create and guide the strategic vision of the organization.  In addition, the Director will be responsible for strategic direction and effective management of the human resources function.

Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the firm’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).  This includes participation in annual information and network security training and acceptance of spot checks on an ad hoc basis to guarantee that InteliSecure is constantly improving upon the organization’s ISMS.  Each member of our team must understand the importance of the ISMS and the subsequent handling of customer data.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals. In addition, the HR director will lead performance management and talent assessment.
  • Direct the development and implementation of organizational development programs, employee orientation and training programs, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies.
  • Evaluate effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data. Prepare and distribute various reports on HR metrics to ensure organizational needs are met.
  • Conduct needs assessments for people and OD solutions that will enhance employee effectiveness in achieving InteliSecure’s goals and objectives. Examples may include, but are not limited to, training and career development programs, performance assessments, coaching, job aids, and change management support.
  • Develop frameworks and tools to support leadership development, talent assessment, and succession planning, including training of managers and HR staff.
  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications. Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organizational values.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience with an emphasis on Organizational Development
  • Demonstrated success in managing people and projects
  • Experience with workforce planning principles, application and strategies
  • Knowledge of employment branding strategies and campaigns
  • Broad-based recruiting, assessment and talent acquisition experience
  • Technical experience working with staffing systems including ATS
  • Knowledge of federal and multi-state laws governing employment practices
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff effectively

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field required

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • PHR or SPHR
