Director, Content Marketing

As the Director, Content Marketing in Xactly’s Denver office, you will be responsible for driving the strategic planning and programs to create the greatest impact for product news, stories of customer innovation, and Xactly executive voices. You will be responsible for the creative planning and execution of content across blog, social, campaigns, and other marketing online and offline channels for Xactly. You will also be responsible leading a top-notch content team marketing Xactly across our corporate social channels including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Responsibilities:
  • The Director must think like a marketer, but act like an editor of a newsroom, leading the development of relevant and successful content daily
  • Help create the corporate content and social strategy for the company
  • Execute on monthly, quarterly and annual plans
  • Influence and align Xactly’s digital strategy with the execution of content and social messaging
  • Collaborate across the company to source content and align with the goals of departments
  • Manage and lead a team of creative, content, and social managers
  • Measure, track and reassess the team’s content and social strategy
 
Required Skills:
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
  • 6+ years professional experience with experience in content marketing or public relations-primarily via digital channels
  • Success in building business-impacting content including blogs, podcasts, ebooks, infographics, and other forms of content
  • Knowledge and experience with blogging platforms
  • Experience in managing content, including video, to improve SEO performance.  Must be a proficient writer, particularly for digital media
  • Understand how to leverage data and engagement tools to evaluate audience health and growth, as well as content performance
  • Be customer-centric and have a stellar writing background with a savvy understanding of digital age practices and what it takes to resonate with prospects and customers
