Craftsy is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our outbound marketing efforts, helping us reach passionate makers wherever they spend time online. In this position you will be using your creative analytical skills to construct smart tests, and quickly iterate to focus resources on things that work. With direct responsibility for revenue, this is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter to make an impact on one of the fastest growing companies in the Greater Denver area. 
 
As our Digital Marketing Manager, your objectives will be to:
 
  • Develop and execute overall strategy for outbound marketing channel, formulating scalable marketing programs and promotions to increase Craftsy registrations and revenue
  • Devise analytics and testing structures that provide actionable insights to the team, and help make smart, data-driven decisions (i.e. sensitivity analysis for incentive structures) 
  • Work across the team to implement marketing campaigns and provide feedback on what makes a quality channel
  • Work with the internal product and engineering teams on site enhancements and tools needed to execute programs and initiatives at scale
  • Manage a channel optimization team as they execute against overall channel strategy
  • As part of a data-driven marketing team, a comfort with data and love for analysis will be critical to your success
 
Your background and experience likely include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
 
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skill set
  • Ability to think creatively, structure ambiguous problems, and synthesize analyses to generate insights and actionable plans
  • Experience modeling marketing programs and executing tests to verify hypotheses (i.e. sensitivity analysis, t tests for A/B tests, such as Welch's t test for unequal variance)
  • Predisposition to find an 80/20 solution and focus on rapid iteration of ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Experience with SQL and proficiency in Excel required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a bias for being concise
  • Rapid learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
