Do you want to work with an inspiring team that is passionate about making a difference, where your technical skills are highly valued, and where the DevOps movement started in Boulder? AppliedTrust is an IT consulting firm that helps companies in the areas of Infrastructure, Security, and Opensource. We literally ‘wrote the book’ on UNIX and Linux System Administration (http://www.admin.com), we founded and host the DevOps Boulder MeetUp (http://www.meetup.com/DevOps-Boulder/)  and pride ourselves on world-class technical excellence.  We serve clients primarily in the Rocky Mountain region with no or very minimal out-of-state travel.

We are looking for qualified DevOps-focused candidates to join our talented, tight-knit team of engineers who are focused on delivering amazing solutions to our clients.  One of the great things about working in a firm like AppliedTrust is that there is never a dull moment – we solve hard IT problems so our clients can make the world awesome every day.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A commitment to providing our clients with 100% satisfaction
  • A passion for DevOps tools and culture
  • A four-year degree, preferably in computer science or a related field
  • One to three years of hands-on system administration or system engineering experience
  • Technical certifications such as CISSP, MCITP, RHCT, etc. are considered a plus

AppliedTrust serves a wide variety of clients, from global Fortune 1000 companies to local non-profits. And just as our clients vary widely in nature, so do our engineers’ workdays, though typically they involve one or more of the following tasks:

  • Applying and supporting automation using DevOps tools such as puppet, chef, and fabric.
  • Gathering client requirements, evaluating options, and selecting and implementing technologies that best suit the client’s needs.
  • Performing security, performance, and availability assessments.
  • Designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer systems.
  • Deploying, managing and maintaining secure, scalable network systems using technology from a variety of vendors.
  • Learning (and sharing) new skills through independent research, formal training, and industry events.

At Applied Trust, we consider our team to be some of the best professionals in the industry. If your skills, personality, and commitment to excellence match ours, we’d love to hear from you.
