MOO is seeking an energetic, driven, and creative Design Service Team Lead to join the company’s fast-growing B2B division known as MOO Business Services(MBS); the team tasked with attracting bigger businesses to work with MOO. The successful candidate will report to the MBS Design Team Manager and work closely with the MBS sales and account management teams.
This is an exciting opportunity in our Denver office for a creative designer to step out of the box and drive improvements in performance, efficiency and creativity of the Design Services Team. This person will be responsible for assigning daily workloads, ensuring timely delivery of templates/custom designs and managing a small team of designers locally and remotely. The ability to mentor, coach and inspire our designers is vital too, so having great people skills is a must.
- Thinks creatively, and provides outside of the box solutions
- Fanatical about the smallest of details
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other MOO internal design tools
- Passionate about people – internal and external customers as well as team members
- Familiar with typography and best practices for kerning, leading, tracking and making fonts work well
- Self motivated, as well as a desire to work as a team to get things done
The main objectives will be:
- Managing the creation of multiple MBS design projects on a daily basis through ticket assignment, creative direction and hands-on design work where required
- Mentoring, coaching and supporting a team of business identity designers and production artists
- Helping develop and deliver a hiring, on-boarding and training program
- Assisting the Design Services Manager in leadership discussions, workload prioritization and strategic initiatives
- Inspiring and engaging your team through creative activities and more
- Management of ad-hoc design projects for other internal stakeholders
