• Design, develop, test, and implement data processing routines in Python
• Create integrated solutions using Python modules (including Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, SQLAlchemy, and scikitlearn), PostgreSQL, and other tools as needed
• Work with Client Service, the SVP of Analytics, and the product development team to define desired requirements and capabilities
• Develop and deploy the software products to NextHealth’s cloud platform
• Contribute to and practice agile development process activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or similar field
• Experience with data wrangling
•  1+ years of relevant software development experience (via work or large scale research/academic projects) using Python.
• Demonstrated ability to select, design, and implement a variety of data structures for efficient application performance
• Experience with database management systems and techniques including SQL
•  Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in fields listed above
• Experience with data mining/machine learning techniques
• Experience with health care analytics
