Job Description

We are looking for a teammate to join us who appreciates the power of a data-driven environment and complex data structures. The Data Ops Analyst role will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the data needs of our business.  You will be wrangling data from multiple sources including sales, marketing, finance, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decisions for the company.  We need someone who has the desire to grow your career by doing projects you’ve never done before. About this role:

  • We have data in multiple databases. You will have the opportunity to gather the data, organize it, and tell a story with it

  • Help pick a BI tool that will be able to bring data together from multiple sources and then maintain the connections

  • Analyze data and processes to ensure the most effective results for the company

  • Partner with our Marketing team to administer their Marketing software tools and document their lead flow process through the marketing funnel    

About You:

  • 3-5 years of data, business, or product analyst experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or any quantitative discipline with focus on data usage and critical thinking

  • Bulk of experience should come from time spent at a software company

  • Proficient in data sourcing, data mapping, data migration, data profiling, data mining and documenting data definitions

  • Comfortable manipulating data outside of spreadsheets

  • Experience modeling data requirements based on complex business needs across multiple information domains

  • Demonstrated ability to write SQL/TSQL queries to retrieve/modify data

  • Effective prioritization, organization and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment, meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
