As a Data Analyst you are independent, self-motivated, well-organized, and an excellent analytic problem solver. You are collaborative and eager to work in a team environment; therefore, as an integral member of our OAS Squad you will deliver exceptional analytical output to support key product offerings and drive new deliverable development. 

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of data and web analytics experience, and will function to support client engagements and business operations of the company. If this sounds like you, then we'd love to have you join the Healthgrades Team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in data analytics specifically web analytics
  • SQL Experience 
  • Ability to develop and apply data modeling methodologies
  • Ability to assess and address data quality concerns
  • Ability to translate data findings into actionable recommendations and process improvements
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time to complete tasks and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce analytics reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Manage data pulls of varying size and complexity based on client contract
  • Ensure accuracy of data reporting
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis projects of varying size and complexity on aggressive timelines
  • Identify data needs of business unit’s customers and determine appropriate methods for researching and collecting data
  • Establish and maintain a data governance framework 
  • Validate quality and integrity of new and existing data sources
  • Review and document data analysis methodologies
  • Conduct analysis and confirm results       
  • Document quality assurance process and any variations in findings
  • Document and communicate findings and insights to business unit leaders and/or clients
  • Report on business unit metrics and/or key performance indicators
  • Assist in the development of recommendations, communications, process improvements, etc. based on findings and insights
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ​
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy, accountability and deadlines, with excellent organizational, time-management, multi-tasking and project management capabilities
  • Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel knowledge (e.g. complex calculations, pivot tables)
  • Ability to communicate reporting deliverables with both technical and non-technical internal stakeholders within all levels of the organization
  • Basic understanding and interest in healthcare quality reporting and industry-standard data resources
    Understanding and ability to perform quality checks to ensure tracking and reporting is correct
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify patterns, and generate new approaches to reporting
  • Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate
  • Ability to understand and help gather business reporting requirements that meet business needs of internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated experience producing deliverables in a fast-growing business environment
