DATA ANALYST

Altvia is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Customer Solutions team with a focus on migrating our client’s data and documents from disparate sources to the Salesforce.com platform and other proprietary products during implementation of Altvia’s solutions.

The Data Analyst participates as a team member responsible for maintaining the integrity of client database information and provides executable and actionable recommendations for data migration best practices.

What you’ll do:

• Acquisition and extraction of data from internal and external sources using business intelligence tools; CRM, marketing automation and SQL servers.

• Audit client databases to identify data integrity issues and recommend remediation.

• Ability to normalize large data sets and create mapping to migrate disparate systems into a central Salesforce.com database.

• Develop data cleansing strategies and perform data cleansing processes to standardize formats to meet client’s internal standards.

• Perform standard and advanced statistical analysis to identify trends in customer data and offer actionable insights.

• Generate routine and ad hoc reports for internal and client facing analysis.

• Responsibility for internal data migration strategy. Develop best practices, in the form of process and training. Institutionalize the knowledge across the broader team of Solution Consultants.

What you bring:

• 3+ years’ experience working with data

• Experience in managing projects/timelines

• Experience using ETL and Analytics tools and solutions

• Technical degree (Computer science, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Information Systems, Informatics or similar)

• CRM experience: Salesforce, NetSuite, Siebel, MSDynamics or similar

• Advanced computer skills; Advanced Excel, Access, MSWord, PowerPoint, SQL Server and VBA skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, multi-tasking environment

• Ability to quickly learn technical products

• Self-starter able to meet tight deadlines

• Organized, quality focused and flexible

• Customer service oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with accounting and/or Private Equity systems such as TNR, Investran, Dynamo etc

• Business Intelligence or Statistics tools experience: SPSS, SAS, R, Spotfire, Tableau, SQL
