About you

Our goal is to build products people love so much they tell their family and friends. A HUGE part of that has to do with our attentiveness in addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback. We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative who is passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience through thoughtful writing, direct communication, and building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the voice of Notion and engage with our customers in a fun, friendly way

  • Deliver exceptional customer support over the phone, email, and live chat

  • Manage customer relationships efficiently and effectively

  • Identify and escalate customer issues

  • Research information and troubleshoot problems using available resources

  • Proactively and independently work to meet targets and goals

  • Think creatively about ways in which we can optimize the customer experience

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Problem-solver who works well under pressure and adapts to adverse situations

  • Open to change, learns quickly, and accordingly in an ever-changing environment

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to pick up new technology quick

  • A ‘can do’ attitude

Bonus Points

  • Past experience in a customer support role, especially in a customer-centric or startup environment

  • Knowledgeable and comfortable using Zendesk or similar ticketing systems

  • Previous, demonstrable experience creating online help resources

  • Early adopter of technology and IoT products

Other Details

This position is roughly 25 hours a week, one that spans weekends and holidays to meet our customers needs. Shifts may include evening hours. It’s a perfect role for someone who is excited to contribute to a growing product and company while pursuing other things.
