Healthgrades is seeking a Creative Front End Engineer to join our Design
and User Experience Team. If you are creative, a conceptualizer, and
collaborator this could be an excellent opportunity for you. The Creative Front-End Engineer utilizes
front-end development techniques to develop and manage user experiences and
update the company’s digital properties and web tools. Overall, you are
building amazing prototypes, landing pages, and interactive media for
consumers.

 

Primary responsibilities:

• Oversees, builds, and
  updates consumer-focused front-end applications, tools, and experiences


• Partners with creative
  teams on ideation and conceptualization to create digital user experiences
  and landing pages for B2B and B2C campaigns


• Build interactive
  story-telling experiences around consumer health stories


• Designs, test, and
  implements new front-end applications and components


• Develops maintainable,
  scalable, and cross-browser compatible code across sites and devices

• Plans, designs, schedules, and coordinates
  development efforts with well-defined milestones and resource allocation

• Manages and tracks project schedules, technical
  issues, and deliverables

• Identifies project risks and develops
  recommendations for addressing issues

• Documents specifications and resource estimates

• Ensures compliance with code standards and
  creative specifications

• Communicates project plan, status updates,
  issues, milestones, risks, and deliverables to all stakeholders

• Documents design and development strategy for
  front-end projects

• Records code base with procedural overview and
  inline documentation

• Stores code base in revision control system

• Documents technical
  support requests and resolution details

 

Required experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in web development, partnering
  with creative/marketing teams, and implementing ideas and concepts through
  digital technology solutions

• Advanced proficiency with internet technologies
  and programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and Redux

• Solid understanding of software development
  methodologies and project management

• Setting priorities and managing time to complete
  tasks and meet deadlines

• Translating ideas from conceptualization to
  launch via front-end application designs

• Comfortable reworking prototypes and handing off
  to partnering development team

• Ability to adhere to strict design principles,
  policies, and implementation deadlines and adapt quickly and reallocate
  resources to changing priorities
