Do you love creating beautiful user interfaces and elegantly designed and expressive digital experiences? Brandfolder is looking for a highly creative, design focused, programmer to bring our ideas to life. Our ideal candidate will have strong HTML and CSS experience. You will be the lead on making Brandfolder look great, while working collaboratively with our creative team and engineers. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company. Is that you?

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work with amazing brands to help them organize their creative assets and tell their brand story
Join a collaborative team of some of the smartest developers and creatives in Denver
Translate sketch wireframes to reality using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Continually polish our user interface
Bring your unique ideas and experience to our product to make it amazing
Deploy production changes daily
Become an integral contributor to the direction of the product and the team
Constantly optimize and improve our user experience

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Strong experience in HTML, SASS, and Interaction Javascript
Experience working on an engineering team, pushing new features at a fast pace
Strong understanding of styling and user interface principles
Understanding of deployment practices and git
The drive to own high-impact projects from day one
A portfolio to show the team and the story behind your projects

Experience designing and building B2B web applications
Design background
Experience with Ruby on Rails, jQuery or React
Previous work experience in an early stage startup environment
Passion to always learn new things

What projects are you most excited about?

The constant adventure we are on in regards to customer data. Of course exposing data to the end user is always helpful but how you present that in a super meaningful way is another. The DAM (digital asset management) world is constantly growing and the platform is defined in a large part by how customers are shaping the need.

At Brandfolder I’ve always felt that my career growth has been of substantial importance to the company. Being my first position out of college, I’ve had a lot to prove. What are some things you learned at the company?

The importance of defining and executing on a feature's MVP (Minimal Viable Product)! We produce quality features efficiently because we don't waste time coding unnecessary pieces and we iterate quickly. With the completed MVP, I can work with the product and design crews to iterate and converge on the best, best, beautiful, final feature.
