We are actively seeking a full-time Content Marketing Manager to fill a role in our dynamic B2B marketing team. This position will be responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of content for the corporate website, blog, third party campaigns, corporate collateral, BDR email templates and PowerPoint presentations. The Content Marketing Manager will also contribute to events, SEO, and international programs. The position will oversee contracted copywriters and copy editors to scale the production of quality content and ensure alignment to Convercent’s vision.

This position will work within the corporate marketing team and with cross-functional teams to create compelling content to enable lead and demand generation, prospect nurturing and corporate thought leadership. This is a team environment position, but individual contribution and accountability is a requirement. A successful candidate will have a sense of urgency, impeccable attention to detail, be a self-starter and be able to get up-to-speed quickly to align with the company objectives. Applicants should be well versed in content marketing principles, have strong writing skills and an expert grammar knowledge. Requirements:
  • Manage the day-to-day content creation for the website, digital and social channels while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Think outside the box to create, find, and develop new concepts to reduce the sales cycle and improve prospect conversion rates through the sales cycle
  • Work with stakeholders to document the content marketing editorial calendar for thought leadership, corporate and product collateral
  • Oversee contracted copywriters and copy editors to support timely development of quality content aligned with Convercent’s corporate vision and road map
  • Ensure up-to-date content is prepared and approved for timely publication
  • Be a content producer, editor, and publisher
  • Optimize content for SEO
  • Support development of Convercent’s brand book for tone
  • Drive quality assurance standards (including proofreading and creative input) of content assets and campaigns
  • Produce and moderate virtual and digital events
  • Support messaging at conferences and trade shows
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, deliver on time and on budget
  • Support effective capture of information related to web visitor activities
  • Develop and regularly distribute content marketing KPI’s to stakeholders
  • This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A sense of humor to bring creativity to our content strategy
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years in a marketing/content role in a B2B and/or technology organization
  • Demonstrated track record of connecting business value to technology
  • Must be self-motivated and can prioritize, organize and work within deadlines
  • Experience managing marketing research, campaigns and budgets
  • Strong writing style with expert grammar knowledge
  • Proven inbound marketing success with demonstrated proficiency in earning audience attention through content marketing tactics
  • Analytical thinking and strategic problem solving
  • Experience managing social media campaigns
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional understanding of the blogosphere
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with sales on sales cycle and demand-gen
  • Marketing technology software knowledge and/or certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Communication, or related field preferred
