POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Strategy Manager’s (CSM) primary function is to develop and progress clients’ Critical Asset Protection Programs (CAPP) and maintain client relationships. CSMs provide guidance, share knowledge and skills with Senior Program Analysts, Threat Protection Analysts and Loss Protection Analysts, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed as they drive clients’ programs to an advanced state of information security maturity.

Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the firm’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).  This includes participation in annual information and network security training and acceptance of spot checks on an ad hoc basis to guarantee that InteliSecure is constantly improving upon the organization’s ISMS.  Each member of our team must understand the importance of the ISMS and the subsequent handling of client data.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Client Service Manager reports to the Director of Security Monitoring and Analytics

  • Manages a portfolio of Clients Information Security Programs

  • Works closely with all department resources internal and external of the Security Operations Center for program strategy and management actions

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Acts as consultative, trusted advisor to assigned clients, owning the relationship

  • Travels to client sites as needed, for onsite presentations and relationship management

  • Responsible for day-to-day activities for assigned clients

  • Develops 12-month roadmaps for assigned clients, expanding their scope, maturity and security posture

  • Maintains project plans and is accountable for delivery of objectives against deadlines

  • Accountable for client satisfaction, retention and keeping their data secure

  • Guarantees the highest quality of services delivered

  • Lead client calls, develops discussion material, agendas and sends call notes to clients

  • Open, assigns and classifies Service Requests (SRQ)

  • Monitor all Clients’ SRQs and CRQs to ensure that tasks are accurate, viable and completed within SLA guidelines

  • Provide flexibility with schedule to cover job requirements

  • Ensures adherence to contracts, best practice, SOP’s and Compliance guidelines

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of proven and success leadership experience

  • Proven success managing a team of people and portfolio of accounts

  • Background in Information Security, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Management or similar field

  • Capability to drive performance and achieve excellent results

  • Ability to work effectively with team members and with clients

  • Self-motivated, with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Demonstrated organizational and scheduling skills, strong time management skills

  • Rigorous attention to detail

  • Analytical ability, consultative, and strong judgment

  • Ability to approach problems from multiple angles and find creative solutions

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of Information Security concepts and trends

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service with excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support

PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience working in 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC)

  • Previous Data Loss Prevention or Information Security experience

  • Experience with ISO, ITIL and/or Cobit framework

  • Industry standard certifications (CISSP, PMP, CISM, etc.)
