Do you have a knack and passion for problem solving? Maybe you are a person who thrives on collaboration and working on a team. As a Client Service Intern you'll be a part of the Global Client Services team helping support our clients and service team deliver results.
Client Services team members here at Return Path are enthusiastic problem solvers! We love to understand client problems, as well as view and analyze situations from a very logical, systematic perspective. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments in various rotations within the Client Services team.
Examples of potential responsibilities include (note: work will vary based on rotation and business need):
Return Path is looking for current undergrads or recent graduates who are passionate and want to make a positive impact on the email universe. The Email Genius Academy is a 12-week paid summer internship program. Project specifics are determined jointly with selected students to ensure that work is valuable both to the student and Return Path.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments in various rotations within the Client Services team.
Examples of potential responsibilities include (note: work will vary based on rotation and business need):
- Assist account team by proactively monitoring client accounts, analyzing issues and providing recommended resolutions.
- Analyze client delivery performance across a variety of proprietary Return Path tools and publicly accessible tools to assist in determining most likely root cause(s) of delivery problems.
- Be responsible for generating, formatting and preparing initial reports based on client specific data.
- Be responsible for data extracts from Return Path's systems and help with research for Professional Services (PS) projects.
- Support Technical Account Managers (TAMs).
- Record customer interactions in the issue tracking system
- Join strategic client calls, take notes, perform action items from those calls as a path to learning about email program optimization.
- Author, edit and revise knowledge base articles on a variety of topics in accordance with department standards, style, and guidelines.
- Assist with content management of knowledge articles in preparation for localization.
- Study digital marketing or have strong interest in digital marketing, communications and/or technology.
- Experience using Excel for data analysis.
- Previous client or customer service experience preferred.
- Conduct research and draw conclusions from multiple data sets.
- Strong analytical approach including listening, questioning, and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Skills in editing English (grammar, punctuation, mechanics) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively – if you like going on your own this will not be for you.
- Work as part of a small cross functional, global team of email & client service experts.
- Be a local candidate or be willing to spend the summer in the Boulder area.

Program Overview
- Our internship program is designed to be a hands-on, career-related experience that supplements classroom experience to enhance the student's education.
- Interns will have responsibilities that mirror the professional activities of their colleagues rather than performing only clerical tasks.
- Managers will onboard, train and mentor interns through the summer.
- Service interns will be assigned to different teams (pairing them up and putting them on different projects with Professional Services, Knowledge & Training, Account Management and Onboarding).
- Lunch & Learns where you can learn about other areas of Return Path.
- Fun outings with team members… Duh! It's summer!
