Change Management Consultant

Position Summary

 

Kapost is seeking a full time Change Management Consultant to join our Customer Success team and spearhead our Change Management practice. The mission of this role/practice is to integrate strategy, process, technology and people for our customers in order to drive process improvements -- both directly, as well as through our services partners -- that enable customers to extract maximum value from our platform, resulting in predictable and increased value delivery, renewal revenue, and upsell revenue.

 

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Change management consulting; In this role, you will be engaging with customers to 1) implement the Kapost content marketing operations methodology, and to 2) operationalize that methodology in our B2B marketing software platform so that they can extract maximum value from it. This consulting will include:
    • current state assessment
    • stakeholder identification, interviews, surveys, analysis
    • process mapping
    • team charter development, including vision, mission, goals, roles & responsibilities, RACI matrices
    • executive engagement & alignment
  • Pre-Sales consulting; engaging with our Sales Account Executives and their prospects to present our methodology, and our change management practice
  • Partner enablement; a key success factor of our new Change Management practice is the enablement of service partners to deliver these services and implement our methodology for our/their mutual customers. In this role, you will be responsible for educating & enabling them to do so, and also for ensuring they are delivering high quality services to our customers.
  • Thought leadership -- blog posts, webinars, videos, white papers, conference speaking engagements focused on B2B marketing best practices, and change management

Required Skills

 

  • Have at least 5-7 years of experience consulting, with 3 or more years of leading change management or organizational development in support of a large technology implementation.
  • Be able to design a change management strategy that helps employees successfully navigate change in their organization.
  • Demonstrated success consulting with clients about a challenging situation, determining an approach then articulating a solution.
  • Have the ability to set the scope and estimate the effort required to execute change solutions for a client.
  • Be well-respected, trusted professionally, and personally very likable.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and seeking additional opportunities to serve the client.
  • Experience and seasoned familiarity of B2B marketing and sales enterprise technology systems and implementations
  • A portfolio of previous Change Management documents/artifacts, (Current state assessment, Process map, Change strategy, Project plan, Stakeholder analysis, Surveys, Training curricula, Training material, etc.)
  • Must have experience with managing projects and change management initiatives.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization.

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS/CIS/IT, Marketing, Management, or a related field required.
  • 5-7 years in consulting and a minimum of 3 years in change management.
  • Experience dealing with senior management across an organization
  • Experience managing diverse teams and complex projects.
  • Experience consulting on change management to external clients is a plus
