As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Velocity Global’s key sales initiatives and growth goals through cultivating and maintaining strategic partners. At its core, this position is focused on developing and leading high visibility, high impact partnerships which drive revenue for Velocity Global. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly impact the growth of Velocity Global’s core business by driving and managing channel partner relationships
  • Recruit and approach key strategic partners while setting defined short-term and long-term channel strategies
  • Lead joint Velocity Global/Partner teams with initiatives in support of revenue-generating activities
  • Create and maintain relationships with business partners to develop strategies to increase revenue for their companies while building the brand through marketing and events
  • Define and commit to building a partnership program through contracts, reviews, and accountability
  • Collaborate with partners to facilitate referrals and sales of our services through the partnership
  • Grow existing alliances to create additional cross-selling opportunities
  • Liaise with partners to provide education and collaboration between organizations while firmly establishing relationships between partners
  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
  • Report and monitor provider performance through the creation of dashboards to identify performance trends
  • Manage cross-functional groups within the partnership including sales, marketing and operations to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership
  • Work with Velocity Global’s business groups to identify opportunities for co-development, co-marketing and/or go-to-market opportunities with strategic partners

Qualifications:

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 7 years of experience in channel or direct sales
  • Must have specific experience managing and scaling relationships within a channel sales capacity
  • Possess a track record of meeting and exceeding quota targets
  • Strong attention to detail and a bias for action – must demonstrate a high sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment
  • Training and enabling partner sales teams
  • Ability to drive and execute at a high-level while learning Velocity Global’s core business
  • You should be a collaborative player and visionary leader
  • Ability to build and earn the trust and accountability of those around you
  • A consistently creative and forward thinking mentality
  • Ability to listen, establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across the partner channel
  • Interest in international business and contributing at a consistently high level
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly; with operations across 180+ countries there is a lot to learn!

This position will require a high level of subject matter expertise and business development within a given territory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on our service and convey passion and ownership
  • Research prospects, identify key decision makers and conduct calls to generate further interest in Velocity Global
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound phone and email communication
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure
  • Maintain and expand a database/pipeline of interested prospects and future opportunities
  • Consistently log and record outreach, producing regular activity reports
  • Work with the Marketing Team and leverage CRM tools to prospect into targeted vertical accounts
  • Recognize the customer’s key challenges in their business operations and identify solutions to the customer’s area of need
  • Clearly articulate service features, distinctions and utilization benefits
  • Accept primary accountability for ensuring that assigned accounts are being properly serviced/li>
  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality of execution and overall service experience
  • Gain experience in lead nurturing, lead generation, and a full understanding of the sales cycle with the ability to close deals
  • Create a strong partnership with each Account Executive you support, this could result in invitations from the Account Executive to attend meetings created by the SDR resulting in an invaluable experience and outlook into the inside sales cycle

  • Naturally curious and possess the ability to identify new prospects independently
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills necessary to review sales and financial data
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of sales and negotiation skills preferred
  • Interest in international business and contributing at a consistently high level
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly; with operations across 180+ countries there is a lot to learn!
