Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop Wowza’s expanding set of partners across the media streaming ecosystem.
- Deeply engage with key partners, drive objectives and roadmaps to success, manage external and internal stakeholders, support revenue growth and Wowza strategic objectives.
- Identify and proactive pitch and enroll new partners. Align and work with key Wowza stakeholders to ID and go after partners that fit with our strategic objectives
- Manage and evolve Wowza partner program to maximize Wowza objectives and scale program. Create levers to ID and pull out key partners for deeper focus. Manage partner applications and enrollment.
- Partner with BD team to build out scalable programs and models to drive revenue growth. Develop capability to leverage partners to drive new leads, awareness, customers, upsell opportunities. Work internally to program manage to success. Dig in with marketing and inside sales team to launch and refine campaigns and outreach to joint solution (Wowza-partner) targets
- Create opportunities to engage end customers and prospects to pitch Wowza driven solutions (together with partners) to drive growth and understand marketplace and customer needs.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage partners/programs to success. Engage with functions across Wowza and partner organizations to achieve milestones and drive success.
- Business acumen & smarts. Ability to come up to speed quickly.
- Ability to strategically assess market to ID players, evaluate fit, prioritize opportunities
- Ability to pitch/sell Wowza to partners, attract and enroll partners on why they want to work with us
- Business development and partner management experience (reseller, referral, OEM), experience a plus
- MBA a plus. BS/BA required.
- Knowledge/experience of Product Management in partner setting
- Knowledge/experience Marketing in partner setting
- Tech knowledge and demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient in technical environment.
