 You will be primarily responsible for creating, qualifying and supporting sales opportunities for Amplio Digital. Specifically, you will develop new business by taking introductory meetings and calls with prospective clients and partners before passing qualified deals to our VP of Growth & Strategy. You will also provide general sales support, including scheduling, follow-up, contract creation/editing and CRM management and reporting. In addition, you will support Amplio’s marketing and outreach efforts by participating in marketing-related functions, including writing articles, sharing content on social media, answering questions in relevant forums, and attending meetups/events. You will have frequent interaction with clients and be exposed to a broad range of business situations in the changing world of retail, e-commerce and digital marketing.
 

This is a “sales-first” role, but will be compensated on a hybrid of sales/marketing/service delivery targets. Given the hybrid objectives, the ideal candidate should be interested in personal and professional growth seeking upward mobility. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with ambitions to become a consultative salesperson capable of taking a deal from open to close to lightweight consulting for Amplio’s service areas (Amazon, Paid Media and Digital Marketing). Success in this role will be measured on individual and departmental KPI’s. Specifically, you will be integral in improving of the following: length of sales cycle, total deal flow at each stage of the sales pipeline, deal close rates, overall sales department growth (revenue), client retention rate, effective utilization of resources and development of consultative sales knowledge and skillsets.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Ability to analyze a business, qualify it for Amplio’s services and build momentum through the pipeline with sales support

• Ensure client satisfaction and retention by managing client expectations and focusing on services that deliver results

• Manage a blend of one-time, ongoing and ad hoc tasks with effective time management

• Improve sales pipeline tracking and reporting functions with a focus towards automation

• Assist with new business as well as cross-sell and upsell efforts

• Maintain our CRM including deal flow, follow-up tasks and accuracy

• Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound lead flow, escalating larger and/or more complex introductions to senior sales leadership

• Drive both guided and self-guided sales training, industry education and professional development

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in related field

• 1-2 years of consultative sales experience

• Exceptional organization, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written

• Thorough, detail oriented, knowledgeable of the digital marketing landscape

• A proven sales opener and closer with track record of sales excellence

• Proficient in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) and Google products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling products on Amazon.com

• Sales experience with marketing departments, wholesale accounts, retailers and/or distributors

• Experience selling or managing services for digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC and Social Media

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Proven ability to work independently with demonstrated time management and communication skills

• Ability to scale responsibilities with the growth the of the business by developing and driving processes
