Business Development Intern
Dizzion is seeking a Business Development Intern to join its growing team! This internship provides a great opportunity to get exposure and hands-on experience to new business development, sales/marketing tools and the B2B IT space. The successful candidate will value this opportunity for what it is – a chance to learn, grow and build in a fast-paced technology company. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will interact closely our VP of Business Development and sales team while also getting exposure to other areas of the business. We value learning and development and work in an open office environment in downtown Denver.

Dizzion’s fully managed desktop service is built on enterprise technology that includes infrastructure, software licensing, management, support and security. Dizzion is a privately-held company based in Denver, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Research new business opportunities (i.e. segments, industries verticals, etc.)
- Use social selling tools to assist with prospect and partner outreach.
- Assist with growing the Dizzion database through research, data mining and segmentation.
- Support the execution of targeted business development events (i.e. tradeshows and conferences) to maximize pre- and post-event opportunities.
- Reporting, measurement, and activity tracking using tools including Salesforce, Marketo and LinkedIn.
- Ability to articulate the Dizzion value proposition and propose new ways of reaching key targets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or related field. Junior academic status or above preferred.
- Available and willing to work at least three days per week during the school year – approximately 15-20 hours per week.
- Strong research skills, creativity, initiative, and willingness to jump in to drive the team forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through on projects. Able to effectively juggle priorities and manage time accordingly.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and a passion for learning. Willingness to work hard and have fun with the Dizzion team!
This is a paid internship opportunity and ideal for someone looking who may be preparing for an entry level sales or business development role. We are also open to part-time post-graduate candidates.
