The role of the Business Analyst, US Product and Business Solutions will play a key role within the US Product & Solutions team and work to deliver
competitive product visions. This role will own the product roadmap and be
responsible for the delivery of key projects.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of the roadmap, product planning, and requirements for new features, services and improvements as it relates to converting customers to Xero.
- Develop business requirements and product specifications as required.
- Develop rationale and business cases for using third-party solutions to facilitate conversion.
- Work with stakeholders to translate market requirements into executable user stories.
- Effectively communicate to and lead a broad range of people at multiple levels within the organization
- Work with a range of stakeholders to ensure market fit for a delightful end to end conversion experience
- Maintain, enhance and extend current core product offerings.
- Collaborate with product marketing and other key groups to ensure release readiness.
- Work with third party parties to understand their roadmap and how this will affect our roadmap.
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a product focused software company
- Strong excel and data analysis skills
- Strong user experience thinking always putting the customer first
- Accounting and tax filing experience highly desired
- Knowledge of current accounting and tax products
- Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill and critical thinking
