The role of the Business Analyst, US Product and Business Solutions will play a key role within the US Product & Solutions team and work to deliver
competitive product visions. This role will own the product roadmap and be
responsible for the delivery of key projects.

Overview of Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the delivery of the roadmap, product planning, and requirements for new features, services and improvements as it relates to converting customers to Xero.
  • Develop business requirements and product specifications as required.
  • Develop rationale and business cases for using third-party solutions to facilitate conversion.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate market requirements into executable user stories.
  • Effectively communicate to and lead a broad range of people at multiple levels within the organization
  • Work with a range of stakeholders to ensure market fit for a delightful end to end conversion experience
  • Maintain, enhance and extend current core product offerings.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and other key groups to ensure release readiness.
  • Work with third party parties to understand their roadmap and how this will affect our roadmap.

Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a product focused software company
  • Strong excel and data analysis skills
  • Strong user experience thinking always putting the customer first
  • Accounting and tax filing experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of current accounting and tax products
  • Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill and critical thinking

Not only has she grown personally due to this role, but it’s also encouraged her to engage with other engineering teams in an effort to better understand her peers’ needs. She’s currently helping plan an event that will enable Indigenous people to share their unique stories with others in the company.

For instance, he recently took part in a scoping session in order to develop a road map for diverse hiring practices.
