Who we’re looking for…
An analyst who thrives on getting into the details and creating thoughtful reports to inform and drive intelligent business strategy across departments. A “data science” type who enjoys working and interpreting large data from sales operations and customer health into digestible takeaways for senior leadership to nurture the customer lifecycle. An analyst who prides her/himself on making metrics meaningful and discerning what’s important in the midst of a noisy and increasingly complex environment.
An ideal candidate will have…
- 2-4 years experience as a business/financial/software data analyst, preferably in tech
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field and/or strong technical background
- Experience working with databases and sales reporting tools
- Understanding of the Salesforce platform to include permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, logical formulas, custom fields, objects, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules
- Desire to obtain Salesforce certifications (we’ll pay for it!)
- Implementation knowledge and experience maintaining integrations with other business systems including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Kissmetrics and homegrown systems
What you’ll do (outcomes):
- Implement, manage, and monitor reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com to ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of data for optimal sales and customer lifecycle operations.
- Recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Distribute sales reports and external intelligence essential to the Sales team.
- Collect, consolidate and generate weekly sales forecasts (with a focus for the month/quarter) and roll up each week’s numbers to Sales leadership.
- Compile key pieces of information related to performance against sales objectives for review by Sales leadership and approved by Finance for processing.
- Make proactive recommendations to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership on process optimization/improvement by analysis of win-loss data.
- Develop presentations, reports, and analysis with actionable insights for Sales and Marketing departments on activities/achievements from Salesforce.com or similar SFA applications, executive reporting of sales and marketing results, key metrics and KPIs, and campaign tracking and analysis.
