Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Ibotta is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) position. This Associate will proactively create and provide analyses, reports, business support, as well as conclusions and recommendations for regular financial review processes. This Associate will work collaboratively with internal customers (including senior management) to properly analyze, interpret, and draw inferences related to financial and operational results. The ideal candidate should be driven, creative, confident, outgoing, and possess strong financial analysis and communication skills.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Prepare and maintain monthly revenue and expense forecasting and analysis.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, the cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Develop and prepare reporting of financial and business unit performance to support company-wide financial and operational goals.
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external presentations and analytical material to be presented to senior, executive, and board management.
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests, as necessary.
Here is what we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, statistics or other relevant fields that demonstrates quantitative orientation.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience as an analyst at a leading consulting or banking institution.
- Proven track record of superior financial modeling and analysis.
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
- An ability to proactively manage ad hoc projects independently and to completion.
- Experience presenting to senior constituents, such as management and board members of large companies.

- Proficient with MS Excel and other MS Office products, including PowerPoint.
