Amazon Account Manager – Boulder, CO
Amplio Digital is searching for an Amazon Account Coordinator to support our Amazon team. While this Coordinator will undoubtedly wear many hats, he/she will primarily be responsible for driving platform success for a variety of online merchants. In this role, you will assist Account Managers in analyzing business performance and driving optimization efforts that aid clients in growing their Amazon business. You will also be exposed to a broad range of business situations and functional areas. Our clients exist within a wide variety of industries, so the ability to quickly understand the nature of a business and deliver results is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service delivery, account strategy and client deliverables for multiple clients by leveraging data-driven SEM tactics such as SEO and PPC
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by managing client expectations and delivering results
  • Support team members such as Account Directors, Account Managers and Specialists along with peer level Coordinators
  • Assist with establishing and implementing team wide standard operating procedures and process
  • Support and lead monthly reporting reviews and progress calls with clients
  • Improve performance tracking and reporting functions with a goal towards automation
  • Assist team members with cross-sell and upsell efforts
  • Manage revenue per client and hourly pacing per client across a book of business
  • Assist with prioritization of Account Specialist and other shared team resources
  • Utilize and expand third-party tools to improve performance for clients and drive internal team efficiencies
  • Serve clients, prospects and internal Amplio team as an Amazon expert, including training and self-study
  • Invent and simplify new methods for driving sales on Amazon by adopting digital marketing tactics ranging from email marketing, conversion rate optimization, social, display and beyond

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience. Concentration in marketing and/or business related fields is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace and dynamic work environment
  • Excel proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) with experience contributing to client meetings and calls
  • Work well in a team and shine as an individual, all while maintaining a sense of humor 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in online retail either at a retailer, digital marketing agency, or working for relevant partner (e.g., comparison shopping engine like ChannelAdvisor)
  • Experience with digital marketing and/or selling on Amazon is strongly recommended
  • Strong general business acumen
  • Technical and/or copywriting skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data and metrics to recommend and drive sound business decisions
  • Focus on continuous improvement and ability to develop professionally
  • Proven ability to work independently with demonstrated time management
  • Ability to scale responsibilities with the growth the of the business
