As an Agile Coach within the Marketing Platform and Services tribe at Healthgrades, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Agile values and methodologies for our internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with Product Owners and Development Teams to facilitate discussions, advise on best practices, adequately define specifications and oversee the development and adoption of our key marketing products. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assesses squad effectiveness and maturity with Agile methodologies
  • Trains squads on the reasons and expected outcomes behind Agile/Scrum practices and values
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on Agile frameworks and toolsets
  • Assists squads and Agile Facilitators in selecting and/or designing and implementing best fit frameworks and toolsets
  • Provides guidance on filling intentional gaps in Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Identifies, collects and reports on squad-based metrics
  • Models, supports, and reinforces a culture of servant leadership and continuous improvement
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the timeliness, effectiveness, and transparency of squad communications
 
Education, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Scrum Master certification
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator role supporting multiple teams/squads
  • Solid understanding of servant leadership, facilitation techniques and tools, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with User Stories, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, Test-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Pairing, Automated Testing, and/or Agile Games
  • Ability to learn and implement evolving Agile strategies and tactics
  • Ability to review workload, set priorities, and manage time to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop and communicate clear expectations for training programs, compliance processes, process improvements, and decision making
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees across multiple business units
  • Ability to adapt quickly and allocate resources to changing priorities
  • Ability to train and mentor employees, including peers, on Agile and Scrum best practices
