Accounting Clerk (Part Time)
· Issue customer invoices
· Pay supplier invoices
· Manage accounts payable and receivable
· Conduct monthly reconciliations
· Maintain annual and quarterly budget
· Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to leadership
· Track key financial metrics and run reports as needed
· Assist in tax preparation and coordination
· Work closely with the Finance Manager to run routine reports and audits
· Follow-up with clients on past-due balances and collection accounts
· Convey a professional presence over the phone, and field calls as they come in
· Office organization and filing (remember those many movable parts?)
We would like:
· Associate in Arts in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (not required with experience)
· 3-5 years experience bookkeeping experience
· Highly proficient with accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
· Strong business acumen
· A high degree of comfort with technology
· Advanced knowledge of electronic spreadsheets
· Familiarity with Digital Transaction Management and Project Management Systems
· Excellent communication skills
· High degree of integrity to handle confidential information and/or assignments
· Strong attention to detail
· Willingness and desire to take the initiative…in all areas of this position.
