We solve hard problems and empower our utility partners and their customers to use energy more effectively. Our market position is expanding and we have some major customer facing initiatives happening. We are rapidly adding customers and will need to be supporting those customers as they come on board and have questions about how to use our products, how our products are impacting their home, and how to save energy.

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of program management, delivery, and expansion of business for large existing customer accounts.  Your mission is three fold.  First, your mastery of program management fundamentals (task estimation, detailed planning/scheduling, metrics development, change management, reporting, etc.) will ensure that complex program activities are carried out in accordance with established processes, schedules, and budget. Second, you will use your sales expertise to develop and implement short and long term up-sell, cross-sell and retention strategies. Finally, you will use your strong collaboration skills to work successfully with the various internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects and programs and document and implement processes to improve the effectiveness of our customer interactions. And with all of this, you will be comfortable working in a maturing environment in which you must become a rapid expert.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a part of the Tendril team responsible for the end-to-end delivery and success of customer programs.
  • Take responsibility for growing sales within the customer company.
  • Deliver each project on time, to budget and to quality.
  • Sustain and expand relationships with director-level, vice president and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Create high customer satisfaction.
  • Up-sell and cross-sell.
  • Enhance end user engagement.
  • Meet program goals such as energy efficiency and demand reductions.

Our minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years’ experience in comparable role.
  • The ability to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project. 

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience delivering and/or selling to integrated utilities, retail energy companies, and telco customers.
