Today, Coalfire serves thousands of clients across the U.S., Canada and the UK. We are privately-held by our co-founders and a small group of outside investors, which now includes Baird Venture Partners. We're growing rapidly, hiring additional talent, and investing in Navis, Coalfire’s cloud-based compliance management solution.
The Account Manager (AM) is highly appropriate for sales professionals with 2-4 years’ experience.  This is a quota-carrying sales position.  The AM will be assigned a fairly large group of existing clients.  With success, the AM will grow into more senior sales roles.  Coalfire, led by the Regional Director of Account Management and the Vice President of Sales for Account Management, provides a comprehensive 3 year career plan designed to meet both our goals.
The primary responsibility for the AM is to renew and grow every assigned account by selling additional services.  The pay plan centers on growing account revenue on a year by year basis.  All sales are expected to be within acceptable ranges for our financial requirements of gross margin and other metrics.  It is critical that the AM develops and maintains a strong positive relationship with our delivery teams.  This is a highly collaborative position with those teams.
 
The following are minimum responsibilities for the AM position:
  • Attain assigned quota targets by growing assigned existing client accounts.
  • Develop domain expertise in Coalfire Practice Areas, Service Categories and Products.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) goals as assigned.
  • Maintain SalesForce records with extreme accuracy to include:
    • KPI performance.
    • Assigned account contacts, addresses and categorizations important to Coalfire Systems.
    • Perfect accuracy at all times on forecasted items.
  • Develop organization skills to further achieve efficiencies in the position.
  • Identify possible leads where ever possible and share with the appropriate team members.
  • Write proposals with a very high degree of accuracy, completeness and with proper grammar.
  • Write emails (both external and internal) with a very high degree of accuracy, completeness and with proper grammar.
  • Maintain an organized work environment.
  • Develop a regular process to review your 3-year career plan with your supervisors.
  • Report any problems or concerns to your supervisors and/or other Coalfire personnel.
  • Any other activities assigned by Coalfire.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in Business to Business sales
  • Demonstrated organization skills
  • Demonstrated writing skills

  • Quota targets
  • Weekly KPI’s
  • Consistently deliver proposals ontime
  • Client satisfaction through the sales process
  • Conforming to all relevant Sales Guidance Documents
  • Reports to regional Director of Account Management and Vice President of Account Management
