We are looking for an Account Executive who will be primarily responsible for creating, identifying and closing sales for Amplio Digital. This position will drive deals from first contact to close and candidates must be a self-starter who can manage a large pipeline of business opportunities. Candidates will need to effectively manage complex deals through the entire sales process to closure. The Account Executive will build Amplio’s brand awareness, sales pipeline and thought leadership by participating in marketing-related functions including writing blog articles, sharing content on social media, answering questions in relevant forums, and attending meet-ups or events along with other marketing-type activities. Responsibilities will include servicing lightweight consulting clients, getting involved in upsells and working closely with the service delivery team to fully synchronize client facing messaging and talk tracks across departments. This role is a “sales-first” role, but will be compensated on a hybrid of sales/marketing/service delivery targets. Given the hybrid objectives, the ideal candidate should be interested in personal and professional growth seeking upward mobility in the form of a sales department leader role.

Success will be measured on achieving sales growth & profitability, client retention, and effective utilization of resources. The role requires the ability to independently analyze a business, develop the path to achieve client goals, and assign and manage resources to ensure delivery of results. In order to successful, the candidate must have the flexibility to thrive in an exponentially growing business, while also instituting the process, structure, and training to ensure results are repeatable and resources can be scaled. In this role, you will have frequent interaction with client senior leadership and be exposed to a broad range of business situations and functional areas, and experience the interdependency of decision making in the changing world of Retail and Digital Marketing.

 

Detailed Responsibilities

 

• Source, open, close and service clients with a primary focus on opening and closing

• Ensure client satisfaction and retention by managing client expectations and delivering results

• Handle advanced and nuanced client deliverables such as contract negotiations and consulting services

• Assist with establishing and enforcing team-wide SOPs

• Improve performance tracking and reporting functions with a focus towards automation

• Actively support broader company recruiting efforts

• Assist with cross-sell and upsell efforts

• Maintain account and opportunity forecasting with our CRM

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound lead flow, escalating larger and/or more complex deals to senior sales leadership

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in related field

• 4+ years consultative sales experience

• Exceptional organization, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written

• A proven sales opener and closer with track record of sales excellence

• Proficient in MS Office and Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience selling products on Amazon.com

• Sales experience with marketing departments, wholesale accounts, retailers and/or distributors

• Experience selling or managing services for digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC and Social Media

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pace and dynamic work environment

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data and metrics to recommend and drive sound business decisions

• Proven ability to work independently with demonstrated time management and communication skills

• Ability to scale responsibilities with the growth the of the business by developing and driving processes
