You know what's scary.... I mean really scary.... I mean more scary than The Exorcist and The Shining put together?

What's really really scary is when you have a wife and kids, and you quit your cushy middle management job to start a company and... wait for it.... you FAIL!

The scariest part of all is... THIS STORY IS TRUE!

Did you just get the chills?

That is my story friends, but I'm not alone. This story, or some derivative of this story is the most common tale you'll hear in the startup world.   If you want to play in this game, you must get very... very comfortable with failure. But how do you get comfortable with the thing that we as startup people fear the most?

In Boulder, they hold the Startup Wake.

We thought we'd take this one step further... Introducing Startup Horror Stories hosted by your friendly team at Denver Founders.

On Wednesday October 28, we're inviting some of the top minds in the Colorado Startup world to share their Startup Horror Stories. From bad business partners to evil VCs you'll hear some scary stuff! Then we'll give you an opportunity to share your stories too.
