Inc. just named 122 Colorado companies to the 5000 list based on their qualitative growth, many of which are Colorado tech companies. Four Colorado digital companies landed in the top 500 spots of the list: SendGrid (ranked at 233), Madwire Media (287), Swiftpage (440) and Trueffect (499).
Cloud-based email service company SendGrid, which passed the 200-employee count in March, just opened a new 20,000-square foot office in Boulder and is looking to nearly double the size of its employee base this year. SendGrid has sent over 100 billion emails per year and has over $27 million in funding to date.
Madwire Media, the maker of integrated marketing software Marketing 360, just a $5.5 million at the end of July to further develop their software and to develop new marketing products for agencies and niche businesses across the country. The round will also add about 50 to the company’s current 150-employee headcount.
Integrated marketing and CRM solution company Swiftpage has been growing its team since 2001 and has grown at an overall rate of more than 1,000 percent in the past three years. The company raised funding in late 2012 and again in early 2013.
Trueffect, the digital ad company headed up by CEO Finn Faldi, raised a $5 million round in June. The company has a new customer acquisition growth of over 400 percent year over year for its 1st party advertising platform for performance marketers.
Other members of the Colorado tech community mentioned on the Inc 5000 list include Otterbox, Zayo Group, Quick Left and Altitude Digital.
