Pixorial, the award-winning personal media sharing platform, today announced the addition of photo functionality, expanded media import, and other enhancements to both its service and mobile applications that further simplify the organization and sharing of photos and videos. Pixorial’s universal service is used to collect all the media from customers’ life experiences – media that is currently scattered across a variety of services, devices, and people.

“Our experience working with customers revealed that most have photos and videos trapped in all kinds of different devices and networks, including their friends’ phones, cameras and storage locations, which made it nearly impossible for them to easily find all the media from their different activities,” said Andres Espineira, Founder and CEO of Pixorial. “For the first time, there is a way to centralize the media collections that mean the most to each person in one integrated platform.”

Another major customer challenge is that today’s posting networks like Facebook and Twitter don’t give viewers access to the full quality of the original media. Espineira added that “with the new functionality and enhancements announced today, we are bringing sanity to the chaos and continuing our mission of connecting people with personal media that matters to them in its original quality.”

New Functionality and Enhancements

Pixorial has expanded its service to include photos, a web uploader, and a host of user interface improvements to its web and mobile applications. Key new functionality includes:

  • Easy Universal Import. Seamlessly transfer all your photos and videos from your computer, devices, other sites and social networks. Consolidating all your media in one place makes it readily available when you need it.

  • Powerful Smart Albums. Ensure that the media that matters to you is safely stored in a private cloud that you can access from anywhere. View all your photos and videos as thumbnails, and quickly organize them into shareable albums.

  • Flexible Share Anywhere. Take the complexity out of sharing your collections and go beyond the limits of traditional posting. When you share a private album, your friends will have access to the original, full-quality photos and videos — and be able to add their own.

All the new functionality is available immediately. New customers can sign up for a free 7 GB online account at www.pixorial.com. The free Pixorial Photo & Video Sharing mobile application can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store today and from Google Play in time for the holidays. -
