Bigger isn’t necessarily better when you’re new to the startup community and trying to get a feel for the it by actually having meaningful conversations with people. These proven monthly events offer an array of positive attributes and offer the ideal setting to become integrated in the Colorado tech community.

 

1 Million Cups, Wednesday 9-10am at Galvanize

Learning in the wee mornings is terrifying to some, but to others it the optimal, freshest point of the day. Join typically 35 to 60 entrepreneurs to listen to two presentations from startup founders and weigh in. Taking place in the vibrant compound of Galvanize, it is a great opportunity to connect with like minds and energize your knowledge of emerging startups.

Women Who Startup, various locations

Taking place in a new location each month, the event series hosts a new dynamic speaker intended to help educate, inspire, and connect local female entrepreneurs. Not only does it encourage women to take a chance, but it also allows to hear intimate (and sometimes displeasing) perspectives on business and making difficult decisions.

Boulder/Denver Coffee Club, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Galvanize or Scrib (Boulder)

An informal, discussion with fellow technologist and entrepreneurs on sporadic topics ranging from discussing current events to trends.

Startup Grind, monthly, various locations

Looking to dive into the success factors of successful local entrepreneaurial leaders? This monthly event hashes out how they got where they are today, ofters strategic insight and advice from the top. Listen to personal stories and lessons learned on the path to building great companies.

Built In Brews, usually second Thursdays, various locations

Forget the traditional business card swapping and small talk and make some lasting relationships. Come to socialize and get to know the radest digital tech offices and their team. This revolving social celebration is hosted by an innovative startup and gathers digital technologists, entrepreneurs and influential minds making headway in the industry.

CoFoundersLab Matchup, varies, Galvanize
