[ibimage==29760==Large==none==self==ibimage_align-right]Denver Startup Week is a five-day community-organized extravaganza of Colorado entrepreneurship, a mix of presentations, workshops, discussions, job fairs, parties, and more. Each event is focused on one of four tracks: Business, Tech, Design, or Manufacturing.
“All of our presentation content is generated from the community at large,” said Conor Swanson, a leading organizer for the Tech Track. “Denver Startup Week opened a call for sessions earlier this year and folks were able to present ideas they believed would have interest. After submittal, the community voted to help decide which presentations would be selected for the week itself.”
Before you get overwhelmed with all of the options, we have a few panel discussions that look particularly intriguing.

Building the Colorado Digital Health Ecosystem

Colorado is already one of the nation's top ten hubs for the Digital Health/Health IT sector, and plans to join the top five. Along with cleantech and bioscience, this literal life-or-death business is becoming one of our area's most vibrant and important. At this event, four digital health leaders share their ideas on how local startups can share resources and grow together. Speakers include Jeffrey Nathanson of Strategic Catalysts @ Work, Tom Higley of 10.10.10, Mike Biselli of INDUSTRY Denver, and Jake Rishavy of PrIME Health Collaborative.

Skip Koppenhaver and Brian Temple, mobile developers at Photobucket, go in-depth on their work and the company's history and future. “Photobucket is one of the true pioneers in the online photo space,” Swanson said. “They were one of the original hosts for images when MySpace launched and a great Denver startup success story as a company that sold to Fox Interactive Media for over $300 million. They've been innovating in the photo space for many years and the GIF technology they've recently launched is a cool and exciting feature being offered in their consumer mobile products.”
