Colorado Startup Brews 2016: Meet PaySimple

Colorado Startup Brews (CSB) is a celebration of the things that make Colorado great: entrepreneurship, charity, & beer. In 2015, Colorado Startup Brews consisted of 19 local startups, vying for the title of best CSB brewer. On Friday, September 9th, Colorado Startup Brews will grow to 30 startups competing for the title.

One of the CSB rookies is no stranger to the Denver Startup scene. Founded in 2006, PaySimple started when the co-founders, then managing a rental publication, asked their clients "How could we make your life easier?” They have since created a service commerce platform that enables their customers to market services, accept payments, and retain customers using one end-to-end solution. PaySimple supports over 15,000 service-based companies across the country with ecommerce, appointment scheduling, credit card and echeck processing, recurring billing, mobile payments, secure customer management, e-invoicing, and cash flow reporting.

PaySimple’s Operations Coordinator, Josh Moore, spearheaded PaySimple’s submission. Josh collaborated with his team to determine what to brew and what to name it.

A team that loves its IPAs, PaySimple decided on a Blonde Ale dry-hopped with New Zealand Hops. Its name? The PaySimp-Ale!

Josh was also the master brewer for the team. Over three years ago, Josh took a fine beer and brewing course. Limited space didn’t deter him; his first brew was on a gas stove in his studio apartment. Josh is most proud of his Belgian Golden Ale but is confident the PaySimp-Ale will be his best beer yet.

Colorado Startup Brews warmly welcomes PaySimple to the organization and looks forward to tasting the PaySimp-Ale!
