Google for Entrepreneur’s demo day was held this week and GoSpotCheck’s presentation to California audiences began on Tuesday when the Denver based company presented their business plans to Google and a panel of tech-funding luminaries as part of a Google push to interact more with startups through business and developer groups.

As part of Google for Entrepreneur's demo day, 10 companies from Google's tech hub network were invited to present their companies to venture capital firms at the company's Mountain View, Calif., headquarters. At the culmination, former AOL CEO Steve Case, acting as a demo day judge, awarded GoSpotCheck with $100,000.

GoSpotCheck is a B2B SaaS product that allows field teams to collect, structure and analyze retail intelligence.  When asked about the significance of GoSpotCheck’s demo day performance, CEO and Built In Colorado community board member Matt Talbot said, “It was an amazing opportunity to represent Colorado in Silicon Valley and show off that CO has a really strong startup community.  We were thrilled that we had the opportunity to demo our product in front of leaders from the Valley and get some great feedback. We made a ton of connections and got exposure to some great investors. “

We will use the funding to continue fulfilling our mission of building a great SaaS business.” These investments benefit the entire Colorado tech community, which is increasingly seeking to appeal to outside investors to increase venture capital exposure for Colorado companies.
