Cloud Elements and Piloto 151 are kicking off the first internship exchange program for developers next January. Piloto 151, which opened this past September, is the first coworking space in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Piloto 151, in conjunction with its partners at Startups of Puerto Rico, created the exchange program to "provide talented, Puerto Rican developers with the opportunity to intern at up-and-coming startups in the US mainland". Two developers will be chosen to intern with Cloud Elements in Denver for a two week period. Applicants are excited to ski in the Rocky Mountains during their visit.

Successful applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Live in Puerto Rico
  • Be able to program in Java, JQuery or Extjs, or any web styling CSS
  • Speak English fluently
  • Be available from January 2 – 16, 2014

In the upcoming year, Cloud Elements plans to send local developers to work in Puerto Rico out of the Piloto 151 space.
