5 Colorado startups where you can volunteer your time on the company dime

In a world where people are eager to give back, time off for volunteering is becoming a stand-out perk for the charitable jobseeker. We’re now seeing more and more companies go beyond simply writing a check — and they’re getting employees involved, too. See which Colorado tech companies give their employees time off to volunteer in the local community.

What they do: iTriage created a mobile and web-based healthtech application that helps people track and manage their healthcare.

Volunteer perks: One paid volunteer day per quarter. Past activities have included charitable hackathons and Habit for Humanity builds.

Other perks: 401(k) match, company-provided EcoPass, onsite gym, free lunch Fridays, tuition and certification reimbursement.
